Waiting quietly for Him

“it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.”

-Lamentations 3:26 (NIV, 2011)

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.”

-Psalm 62:5 (NLT, 2007)

“Be still before the Lord; and wait patiently for him…”

-Psalm 37:7

Gonna be leaving this “realm” for a while. A time to check my motives in writing. I don’t want to sound okay externally and perish internally.

As I trust in quietness I hope that God’s voice will be clearer and louder than any other sound.

Pray for me.

Bloodshed

“God paid a high price for you…”

-1 Corinthians 7:23 (NLT, 2007)

“Blood was shed for the purity of our hearts.” Unless we realize this and see the cost of our hearts, we will not be able to really guard it and see its worth—the purity purchased to give us a NEW HEART CUT OUT TO WORSHIP.

Faithless me, Faithful You

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken.” O LORD, when you favored me, you made my mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayedTo you, O LORD, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy: ”What gain is there in my destruction, in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me; O LORD, be my help. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

-Psalms 30:5-12

Write my faith, Lord. You are the Only Author of it. I cannot produce my own. I am faithless. But You are faithful. And that is the only faith I have left now—knowing that You are faithful.

“I’m broken inside, I give You my life.”

-Elevation Worship, “Give me Faith”

The Master’s Plan

Sometimes dreams have to shatter so we can make room in our lives for the better plans God made for us long before we even formed our own. This shall bring joy to my heart even when I feel like my dreams are shattered.

Trust God. He knows what He is doing.

Jeremiah 29:11

Now I take this verse on a different level. This is more than just having a prosperous future. This is a dare to trust God no matter what situation you are in right now.

Because being chained doesn’t mean disabled

Colossians 4:18

Being in chains did not stop Paul to encourage God’s people and be a light to the outsiders. His testimony was a letter written while in chains. But it did not stop him. Remember his chains. If God can use a jailed person, how much more a free man?

There still maybe things that can hold you back like Paul’s chains, but Christ’s outstretched arms will always be enough to free and enable you.
